Absyketix discovered the techno scene in the 90s by listening to the cybertrance show on Fun Radio. Gradually, he explored other styles within this vast musical family. In high school, he met a DJ from the rave scene, which he attended for the first time in 2000. A self-taught DJ, he learned to mix on vinyl, without much affinity for the medium, preferring digital tools to apply what he had learned. Over the years, he drifted away from the rave scene and gravitated towards psytrance/techno parties, which aligned much better with his values. He draws his influences from dark minimal techno and psytechno. Independent until 2014, he joined Ethereal Decibel Company after three years of enriching collaboration with this high-energy team.
